Sports Dentistry is the treatment and prevention of oral and facial athletic injuries and related diseases. Included in this prevention are mouth guards. The best mouth guard is custom designed and made by a dental professional with the athlete’s individual needs taken into account.
The ADA councils and promotes the importance of safety in maintaining oral health and the use of a properly fitted mouth guard as the best available protective device for reducing the incidence and severity of sports-related dental injuries. The ADA and PearlFection are committed to oral health promotion and injury prevention for sports participants.
Custom mouth guards are made from precise models of an individual’s teeth. These appliances are made from materials that ensure a proper fit, are easy to keep clean, and do not restrict breathing.

Moms and Dads are you considering braces for your kids? Do you think you need to go to an orthodontist? What if we told you that studies indicate that Invisialign might be faster, less expensive, and enable patients to better care for their teeth because they can remove the devices and thus allow for better oral hygiene and brushing. Dr Stringer is a certified Invisalign provider . She has taken advance training in invisible braces and encourages all patients to explore removable braces for children, teens and adults before having fixed braces attached.
The primary benefit is that better hygiene can be performed because the devices can be removed, allowing for thorough cleaning. The technology of Invisalign and the incredibly accurate process of moving teeth with the invisalign aligners actually results in faster movement of teeth and thus shorter time under treatment. All these benefits and nobody even knows your wearing braces.
There is no bigger complement that can be paid to a professional provider of services, like dentistry, than for a patient to refer friends or family members to their practice. Over the past year we had close to 200 new patients referred to our practice directly from you, our existing patients. THANK YOU!!!.
We wanted to do something more than a simple thank you going forward. So we would like to provide a small gift as a token of our gratitude. We are sending anyone who refers a patient to our practice an insulated coffee mug and a $100 gift certificate. The $100 ($50 for general dentistry) can be used for cosmetic dental work in our office. Thank you for the referrals, it really means a lot to us and we appreciate it.
For our patients and our practice, is Improving Communications with Email Invoicing
Some of our patients asked if we could find a way better way to communicate with them for things like reminders, invoices, patient file transfers, and basic communication. We had already tackled the reminders, patient file transfer and basic communication by integrating software with our practice management system and email. That move allowed us to send electronic reminders via email and text. We also installed an email system that allowed us to safely send patients communications and files. The next step was to implement a system where we could start sending invoices via email.
We are happy to say that this is now operational. Starting immediately we will stop sending invoices thorough the mail and start sending them through email, assuming our patients don’t specifically request not to receive invoices via email and assuming the patients have an active email account. If you still want a traditional mail invoice, we can still accommodate that, but speed, safety, and costs are enhanced on both the practice side and the patient side by using electronic invoices and on-line bill pay though your bank. The result is no more stamps, no risk of mail being tampered with, and confirmation that correspondence got received. All that benefit and no trees are cut down in the process, so it’s good for the environment. If you have any questions or want to ensure we have an accurate email address, please call our office.
