Your dentist will help you evaluate your treatment options

The ideal treatment for will you will depend on your orthodontic issues, your brace type preferences, and your budget. When you visit either of our offices, your dentist will perform an examination, take a few X-ray screenings, and explain how each treatment option will address your orthodontic problem.

Metal braces are ideal for mild-to-severe orthodontic problems

Metal braces are a good choice no matter what type of orthodontic issues you have. After all, braces are just as effective at treating mild problems as they are at tackling severe bite problems or complicated issues.

After your dentist cements metal brackets on to the fronts of your teeth, he'll run metal wires through the brackets. The braces exert constant pressure on your teeth, gradually realigning them. Metal braces require adjustments every four to six weeks.

Ceramic braces provide a less noticeable option

Ceramic braces eliminate the metal and use clear ceramic brackets and clear or tooth-colored wires instead. They work the same way as metal braces and require regular adjustment visits. Ceramic braces are a good choice if you have mild-to-moderate orthodontic issues.

Lingual braces keep wires out of sight

Lingual braces are attached to the backs of your teeth and aren't noticeable when you smile. They also require periodic adjustments.

Clear aligners offer the most discreet straightening method

Clear aligners are an excellent choice if you prefer a more subtle straightening option. The removable aligner trays are custom created for your mouth using CAD/CAM technology and are designed to gradually realign your teeth by exerting continual, gentle pressure on them. You'll wear each aligner tray in the series for about two weeks before swapping it for the next aligner tray.
